My interest in, and concern over, changes to our environment led me to create the ‘Veiled Threats’ series.

•The series is about global warming.
The change to our world is at present perhaps only slight, and the threat is not always obvious or unpleasant and often veiled by pleasant warmer weather: how this will affect us in the future is a continuing debate.
These works represent my impression of ice melting and shifting, and our changing world.
One of the main contributors and issues for debate is the burning of fossil fuels. Therefore some of the work is also inspired by oil.
The images, beautiful, subtle, but not immediately disturbing, are nevertheless a veiled reminder that our technological advancement is changing the natural world.
